After years of deliberating replacing a worn out and tired roof on a1960s/70s detached house,decided to replace it. Job was complicated by 2 single storey extensions with velux windows and an all glass balcony. Called out Ross Clark Roofing (came recommended to me). Ross attended in person.(puts his name on the van, not an acronymic company always a good sign I think). Gave price and time frame to complete. Scaffolders came on time completed 2days. Roofers came on time completed 4/5 days. Scaffolders returned removed scaffolding 1day. Job was completed to an excellent standard and costs were reasonable and inline with my expectations. Cannot praise these guys enough. Having taken on a project as a house, I had several different trades folk giving me quotes for different projects. It was an absolute headache, some staying for upto 3 hours. Ross came to my house, gave me a quote in 10mins and agreed a start date. My previous roof was like something out super mario bros, over run with moss and probably older than the original game. My loft was drafty and clearly had leaks. My new roof is a dream 😍. Storm Eowyn seen our roof damaged and there was a worry of water coming in , We decided it was best to have our complete roof redone ,Ross the owner of Ross Clark Roofing discussed and covered a complete re roof and removing the dangerous chimney stack We also decided to renew all the soffits facias and guttering and downpipes in dark brown to match the new brown tiles and our house windows , I have to add for what was done I thought the price was very reasonable Within a week the scaffolding went up , then a huge skip arrived and 3 days later the roofers grafted stripping the old tiles battens etc , others were following laying new breathable membrane and new tile battens etc, our roof is not straight forward with peaks and valley gutters , the finished roof is first class and Ross used top quality materials, everything was completed in 5 days and his team were prompt every morning great workers and so organised , I highly recommend Ross Clark Roofing

Hugely grateful for the guys at Ross Clark Roofing. Professional and efficient, the roof looks great and all the inside boards were replaced too. Excellent value and the work has been completed to a high standard. They also noticed the chimney was a bit loose and after confirming, had it removed and tiled over within an hour or so. Only downsides were the amount of nails left behind on the ground and communication prior to the work could have been improved. We weren’t sure when they were coming and the dates changed a few times which I only knew from following up myself. I would recommend the boys to do a good job though and leave your new roof the envy of your street. Thanks to all involved!

Ross had renewed my guttering a few months earlier which I was very pleased with. His team are very quick and efficient and just want to get stuck in, which was appreciated. Great service!! Spoke to Ross over the weekend of Storm Eowyn as we had slipped roof tiles, a hole in the roof with water coming into the kitchen. I would thoroughly recommend Ross for any roofing work. He replaced our tired hip tiles with a new dry ridge system, and we also had him remove our chimney and replaced with a flue pipe for our log burner. Knowing some of his work, I knew he was good. I had Ross and the team re-roof our property at the end of 2023. They did a great job especially with some of the bad weather they had to work through. Ross was always very responsive to any questions or concerns and spent a lot of time with us at the planning stage to make sure we choose the right slate for our house. Had a full re-roof completed by Ross Clark and his team. This included stripping all the old damaged slates, installing new breathable membrane along with adding new Spanish slate, extensive lead work was done throughout. Work also included re-felting a flat roof and new guttering throughout the property. The guys cleaned up at the end of every day and the finish and standard of work was great. On arrival my neighbour wanted his done too, with the removal of a chimney, which delayed finishing time but wasn’t a problem for Ross and his team. There was a bit of mess while the roof was being replaced, however on finishing, you wouldn’t know he had ever been. The weather played a part in delays and also caused a small leak which was fixed promptly. Repairs to the ceiling were also carried out at no extra cost. Can’t speak highly enough of these guys. I shopped around and spent a lot time researching local roofing companies that would help with my fairly complicated loft conversion.
