Another outstanding roofing project has been completed by the Ross Clark Roofing team-this time on Allanvale Road in Prestwick. Completed in just 7 days, this full re-slating project demonstrates our team’s efficiency, craftsmanship, and dedication to delivering a high-quality finish every time.
Project Overview
This was a full strip and slate replacement on a semi-detached property, with additional features installed to enhance both function and durability. As always, the customer received a 10-year guarantee on all works.
Scope of Work
The following works were carried out during the project:
Existing Roof Fully Stripped: All roof slopes were stripped back to the rafters to allow for a clean, professional reinstallation.
70mm Bonding Gutters Installed: These were fitted between adjoining properties to prevent water ingress and ensure effective drainage.
Breathable Membrane Fitted: A high-performance Permavent breathable felt was used to protect the internal structure from condensation and moisture build-up.
Code 5 lead was expertly installed to all valleys and chimneys, ensuring maximum weatherproofing.
Natural Slate Installation:
We used 400mm x 200mm CUPA slates, known for their exceptional strength and appearance.
All slates were fixed with 50mm copper nails, ensuring long-term resistance to wind and weather.
Dry Ridge System:
Fitted with Grey Marley Modern ridges on hips and ridge for a secure, maintenance-free finish.
Guttering:
New black deepflow gutters were installed to handle increased water flow efficiently.
