We’re excited to share the details of our latest re-roofing project on Doonfoot Road, Ayr. This project highlights our team’s dedication to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, resulting in a beautifully transformed home. Here’s a closer look at the work we completed:
Thorough Roof Preparation
The project began with the careful stripping of the existing roof slopes. This step was crucial for ensuring a clean and solid foundation for the new roofing materials.
Enhanced Weatherproofing
We installed a breathable membrane felt across the roof, providing essential protection against moisture while allowing the roof to ventilate properly, preventing condensation and prolonging the roof’s lifespan.
Precision Lead and Cladding Work
Code 5 lead was expertly fitted to the valleys, dormers, and abutments, ensuring these critical areas are fully protected from water ingress. We also fitted black UPVC cladding to the fascia boards and dormers, enhancing both the durability and appearance of these areas.
Quality Roofing Materials
The roof was tiled using grey Marley Double Roman roof tiles, chosen for their durability and classic aesthetic. To ensure a secure and maintenance-free finish, Marley ridges were installed on the hips and main ridge using a dry ridge system.
Efficient Guttering System
To complete the roof, we installed black Ogee gutters paired with 68mm rainwater pipes. This system not only ensures efficient water drainage but also complements the overall look of the house.
Customer Satisfaction and Guarantee
Our customer is absolutely delighted with the transformation of their home. As always, our work is backed by a 10-year guarantee, giving peace of mind and ensuring the longevity of the project.
